Levi, David
Son of Yitzhak and Gila. Born in 1924 in the city of Tzukhuk in Iraq, he immigrated to Israel at the age of 1. He completed his studies at the Sokolov Boys’ Primary School in Jerusalem and then continued his studies for three years in the framework of the youth company Ein-Gev He served in the Mandate Police in the vicinity of the Dead Sea, was a frequent member of the Israel Defense Forces and was active in sports, and was drafted into the IDF in March 1948. In the course of his duties, on 20.8.1950, Fell and was brought to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
