Levi, Asher


Ben Shoshana and Shlomo. He was born on December 29, 1974 in Holland, the second son of a family of six children. Immigrated to Israel with his family in 1976. The family lived for two years in Bnei Brak and later moved to Yeruham. Who studied at the “Torat Moshe” elementary school in Yeruham. In the eighth grade, he studied at the Re’eh elementary school in Rehovot. He did his high school studies at the religious boarding school of the “Elon Moreh” seminary and until his enlistment he worked at odd jobs. Who was a handsome young man, intelligent, intelligent and independent in his opinions and actions, who hated framework and enforced discipline. He was active and energetic and loved to do things that were not routine, such as jumping from a great height. Who was a very sociable guy, accepted and loved by his many friends. He laughed a lot, joked and sang and liked trips and animals. Son and brother devoted and loving to his parents and his brother was. He liked to fly to Holland to visit his mother’s family. From his childhood, he showed great interest and love for cars and driving. At the age of eighteen he fulfilled his dream when he issued a driver’s license. Who was a Zionist and an ardent patriot, and dreamed of serving as a combat soldier, but his low medical profile due to open heart surgery at the age of fourteen prevented him from doing so, to his great disappointment. In February 1993, Asher was drafted into the IDF and at the end of basic training he was placed as a valet in a unit in the Khan Yunis area. (17.4.1993) Asher was killed during his service in a road accident that took place while on vacation, and was buried at the cemetery in Yeruham, followed by his parents, two brothers Baruch and Yehuda and three sisters Sarah, Chana and Libi.
