Levi, Abraham
Son of Aliza and Baruch. Avraham was born in Turkey on March 17, 1933. He immigrated to Israel alone in 1949, and later his parents joined him. When he arrived in Israel, he settled in Ashdot Yaakov, and later moved to Kibbutz Tze’elim, where he worked. In 1954 Avraham met Varda, and a year later, on August 5, 1955, they married, and their children Amnon and Amir were born in Tze’elim in 1962. In 1966 they left Kibbutz Tze’elim and moved to Ofakim. Avraham joined the Israel Police in 1962, and served faithfully until the day of his death, and was a devoted family member who loved his children very much and his favorite pastime was to take them to picnics and pamper them. Abraham liked to help people, and everyone admired him, he loved photography very much and filmed various events he had been invited to: parties, birthdays, alliances, etc. (17.1.1980) First sergeant Avraham fell in the line of duty when he was forty-seven years old when he fell in the cemetery in Ofakim, leaving a wife and three children.
