During the last two years before he fell, he served as a noncommissioned officer in a heavy battalion of mortars, and when Avraham completed his regular service, Abraham married a wife and began to bear the burden of a family. , Began to see a blessing in his work, and in this profession he worked until his death, he loved nature very much and went on walks and picnics in nature with his family, He was always a loyal son, a devoted husband and a model father, and when the Yom Kippur War broke out, Avraham took part in his unit and took part in the Sinai battles as deputy commander Team of 120 mm mortar. Until his last moments he had encouraged his friends and often told jokes, even though they were blasphemous. On October 14, 1973, while carrying out his duties in the vicinity of the Telisman axis in Sinai, he was hit by the explosion of a mortar barrel and killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left behind a wife, a daughter and a son, a mother, a father, three sisters and a brother. After his fall, he was promoted to sergeant.
