Levi, Aaron
During the Second World War he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to the 609 Company of the Israel Defense Forces. He was sent to Egypt and from there to the western desert. On 18 Iyar, May 15, 1941, he was killed in Marsa Matruch and brought to eternal rest in the British military cemetery in El-Alamein, Egypt. His name was immortalized in the book “Yizkor” published by the Jabotinsky Institute, in the “Book of the Year of the Journalists” in 1946 and in the “Voluntarism Book.”
