Lev, Yosef (Yossi)

Son of Miriam and Marcus, was born on April 26, 1927 in Haifa. On May 15, 1948, when the enemy attacked Nirim and the comrades opened fire on the enemy armored vehicle, which advanced from one wing to the point, Yosef was hit by a shell and fell. He was brought to rest in a grave in the cemetery of Kibbutz Nirim in the Negev.
