Lev, Moshe (Moshele)

Son of Avraham and Tova. He was born on the 2nd of Tishrei, 5702 (October 2, 1942) in Givat Hashlosha – and the days of the Second World War. He studied there in elementary school and during his studies worked in the sheep pen. At the end of his elementary studies, he attended high school and finished his studies – and he was then seventeen and a half. He was a member of the kibbutz together with his classmates, but the IDF could not be accepted because he had not yet reached enlistment age, and in 1959 he took part in the four-day march, and in August 1960 he was drafted into the IDF. Superhuman efforts. After the first training, he was sent to the driver’s course and only a few days before Fallot received his driver’s license. On February 8, 1961, he took his friend to the hospital in a military ambulance. On the way back to his camp, he died and his friends brought him to the hospital without a breath. He was laid to rest at the cemetery on Givat Hashlosha. The kibbutz issued a booklet in his name. In Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers,” his memory was raised.
