Lev, Avi
Son of Ellis and Eli were born in Kiryat Shmona on July 11, 1964. Avi began studying at the “Tel Hai” elementary school in Kiryat Shmona, where he studied for one year at a school in Kiryat Tivon, Until his enlistment Avi worked in various carpentry workshops in the city, where he served as a soldier in the infantry unit. When the Peace for Galilee War broke out, Avi immigrated with his unit to Lebanon and took part in the battles that took place there. Avi was about to marry his fiancée Rina, everything was ready and ready for the wedding; an apartment was bought, and even the invitations were sent. On the 24th of Kislev 5742 (August 1, 1982), Avi fell in battle in Lebanon during the Peace for Galilee War and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shmona. After he fell, he was promoted to corporal. He left behind a mother, six sisters and four brothers.
