Lerer, Yerachmiel (“Malik”)


Son of Yitzhak and Bat-Sheva. Born on March 20, 1941 in Tel Aviv, he studied at the “Shiva” elementary school, and was a member of Hanoar Haoved, a violin player who was fond of all his friends. After graduating with a youth company to Kibbutz Sasa in the Galilee, where he studied and worked and worked in painting and dancing, he was forced to leave the kibbutz a year later, when he returned home to work as a metalworker. He passed a driver’s course and was attached to a transport unit. Was a disciplined soldier and faithfully fulfilled his duty. He fell in the line of duty on 1 April 1961 and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
