Ler, Yerachmiel
Yerachmiel, son of Helena and Zvi Ler, was born in Warsaw in 1929. He was a member of a Zionist youth movement and after the victory over the Germans he immigrated to Israel in 1946. In order to assimilate into the life of the country, he first entered the Maaleh Hahamisha group and from there went to study the delicate mechanics profession at the Brandeis Center’s study workshop in Jerusalem. T On the 27th of Iyar 5708 (June 5, 1948), on the way to his unit, he was hit by a shell.He was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
