Leizerowicz, Meir


He was born in 1885 in Syrong, Russia, and immigrated to Eretz Israel from Czechoslovakia in 1934. At the beginning of his career he worked as a laborer in Hadera and joined the ranks of the Irgun, and was also a member of the National Workers’ Union. In 1938. He was active in Binyamina and on the 27th day of Kislev (19.12.1938) on the road between Binyamina and Zichron Yaakov when he returned from work, was shot in an ambush and killed. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Zichron Yaakov. He left a wife and children in Czechoslovakia.
