Leitner, Simcha

Son of Feivel Charney and Rosa. Born in Brisk, Poland, on October 15, 1940. Simcha was a survivor of the Holocaust and Mr. Yaakov Leitner adopted him as a son in Germany in 1946. Immigrated to Israel in 1949. He attended elementary school and was drafted into the IDF in May 1958 He fell on the 28th of Shevat 5719 (28.1.1959) while fulfilling his duties and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
