Leibushitz, Azriel (Ezri)


Son of Zvi and innocent. He was born in Tel Aviv on August 5, 1935. He studied at a school for the children of workers in Tel Aviv and at the “New High School” in the real-world track, and was an active member of the United Movement And joined the “Me’adat Mechora” organization, which was organized in 1947. With this core, he underwent training and Gadna in the Ma’ayan Baruch, Ein Gev and Haon farms. Azriel joined the IDF in October 1953 and joined the Kibbutz Nir Eliyahu, a school near Qalqiliya, where he worked in the various branches of the agriculture and was known for his diligence. 1956 Started studying at the Technion in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing and graduated from the B.Sc. in 1960. During his army service and studies at the Technion, he was active in sports and in the field of basketball. (National games) and participated in the Israeli national team and “ASA” (Academic Sports Organization) in many international games in most European championships, including the IDF’s victory game against the French army, and the highlight of the tournament was the World Championship in Rio de Janeiro, the European Cup, the Rome Olympics and the Universiade Games in Bucharest, Paris and Sofia. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1962. He completed his studies in Business Administration and completed his MBA in Business Administration. He was certified as an accountant and went to work in his father’s accounting firm. He was a broad-minded man, distinguished in depth of thought and clarity of perception. He strove for perfection in everything he did. Ezri loved people and loved them all and excelled in modesty and decency. He was a good friend to his many friends and willing to help at any time. His co-worker told him: “He gave me confidence and in times of crisis knew how to elevate the spirit, I felt that his words stem from the Lev and from the soul.” He was a lover of photography and music, played and loved to listen to classical music. In January 1971 he married a wife. On the 12th of Av, 5731 (July 3, 1971), he died during his service. Laid a pregnant wife, parents and sister. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
