Lehat, Uri


Son of Menachem and Yehudit (Ida). He was born on July 20, 1956 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the Magen Elementary School in Maoz Aviv, continued his high school studies at the Herzliya Gymnasium in Tel Aviv, and studied sociology at the Mishelav School in Tel Aviv. Uri was a member of the Scouts youth movement, a member of the Maoz Aviv branch. He liked to play sports and spent much of his spare time playing tennis and running. Uri was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of May 1974. After completing basic training, Uri acquired two military professions – a meteorologist and a staff officer – and was attached to the Air Force Orchestra Unit on June 3, 1977. In the region The Beit Oren road, Uri fell during his service, was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving behind his parents and sister.
