Born in 1916 in Bucharest, Romania, he was active in the sports club in his hometown and joined the Maccabi Association in 1935. In 1940 he was arrested and tortured by the Nazi “Iron Guard” on false charges of communist activity. In February 1941 he set sail for Eretz Israel on the illegal immigrant ship Dorian, and during its voyage he was active in its leadership, which brought him safely to the shores of the country, where they were arrested by the British authorities and sent to a detention camp in Atlit where they stayed for almost a year. Various sports: wrestling, basketball, handball, volleyball, waterball and After his discharge from the prison, he enlisted in the British infantry units of the British Army and attained the rank of sergeant (sergeant), and was distinguished in the army as a soldier and as a disciplined and responsible commander with powers of mind and spirit, devoted to his duties and subordinates. 1944, he was sent to the front of the war in Italy and was ordered to ambush German forces in one of the houses on the Senio River, moving to the destination in the darkness, leaving his men behind and advancing with another soldier Check the house that seems to be deserted. Blazer hit a grenade that was badly injured, but he controlled the situation and continued to command his men. His forces were exhausted.
