Lazarov, Nissim (“Simcho”)

Son of Shalom and Yaffa. He was born on June 14, 1931 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. He graduated from elementary school there. Out of his devotion to his parents, he helped them with their finances after finishing his studies. He immigrated to Israel in 1948. He was drafted into the IDF in October 1950. He was wounded while carrying out his duties and died of his wounds on 10 April 1952. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
