Lazar, David (George)
Son of Yosef and Yocheved. The parents knew bereavement and widows during World War II, but after the war, when they both married, they had two sons, one of whom was David. He was born on July 15, 1946 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The family immigrated to Israel in 1957. David attended the son of-Dor elementary school in the Nesher neighborhood and later attended the Amal school in Kiryat Haim. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement and to Maccabi. Was a locksmith and mechanic according to his profession. Was conscripted into the IDF in February 1964. On the Syrian border, on the 8th of Kislev, 5725 (13 November 1964), he fell and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
