Throughout the years he grew dogs and was very attached to his dog, whom he called “my love.” His dream was to become a veterinarian and take care of animals. Shortly before his enlistment, Ronen moved to his own room on the kibbutz. He discovered independence and was Simcha. At the end of November 1995, Ronen enlisted in the IDF, where he was trained as a combat soldier and advanced to Lebanon, where he served as a commander in the Golani Brigade and was proud to be part of the unit.
