Lang, Yehuda (“Nimrod”)


Son of Chaya and Michael, was born in 1920 in Lithuania. He was a member of the Betar youth movement and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1935. He joined the Lehi underground in 1935. He was one of the first recruits to the Jewish settlement police. As a guard, he was on duty in Mas’ha, Sejera, Kfar Tavor, and more. When he moved to Gush Dan and was appointed corporal, he was an educator, explaining to his people and being liked by everyone. Yehuda had an evening voice and a lot of singing, alone and in the choir. On his return from the shooting range, Corporal Yehuda fell in a fatal car accident on 4 Shvat, 29.1.1944, and was brought to eternal rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery, leaving his parents, four brothers and four sisters. His name is commemorated in the book “Yizkor” Botinsky.
