Lancry, David

Son of Shalom and settlement. Born in 1943 in Kaza, Morocco, where he studied at the Alliance School in 1961. David was drafted into the IDF in December 1961. During his service he excelled as a devoted soldier and as a model and all his friends loved him. After he was released from regular service he was called for periods of reserve service. On 8 May 1969, he died of wounds that had been wound three days earlier in the Suez Canal region and had been brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Tiberias.
