Lachman, Yitzhak (“York”)

Son of Shmuel and Sarah. He was born on the 20th of Elul 5705 (August 20, 1945) in Siberia, Russia. On his fifth birthday, in 1950, he immigrated to Israel. He studied at the Balfour School in Tel Aviv and later in Givat Hashlosha. In May 1963, he was drafted into the IDF and a few months later, on the 16th of Elul 5723 (16.9.1963), he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
