Daniel, son of Miriam and Meir, was born in 1947 in Aden, Yemen, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1949. The family settled in Netanya and Daniel attended the Sinai elementary school there. was drafted into the IDF in early November 1964 and assigned to the infantry. After basic training, he successfully completed a course for squad commanders and was sent to serve in the infantry unit as a squad commander, and he was known as a good commander who took care of all the needs of his soldiers. In 1969, Daniel was discharged from regular service and assigned to a reserve unit of the infantry, and in 1969 he underwent a course in which his profession was changed He was transferred to the Armored Corps and assigned to the post He commanded a squadron in the infantry unit. Danny married his girlfriend Miriam and together they established their home in Netanya. It was a warm and pleasant house whose door was open to family, friends and friends. During the Yom Kippur War, his unit participated in the battles of containment and infiltration against the Egyptians in the Sinai.
