Kuperstein, Avraham


Avraham (Avi), ben Lisa and Ephraim, was born on February 5, 1953 in Haifa, Avraham enlisted in the IDF in early February 1972 and was assigned to the infantry brigade, where he underwent a course for infantry commanders, a course for infantry commanders, a parachuting course and a course for army commanders. In the Yom Kippur War, he served in the northern front and went through the difficult battles of braking and the battles of the breakthrough without harm. He came home Simcha and smiling. In a battle held on Mount Hermon on April 21, 1974, he was injured and fell. He was brought to eternal rest in the Haifa cemetery. Survived by his parents, brother and sister. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan wrote: “Avraham was a devoted soldier and an excellent friend, who was loved by everyone who knew him.”
