Ben Margherita and Alexander. Born in Tiraspol in the Republic of Moldova in the Soviet Union in 1984. In 1984 he began his studies in a school in his hometown and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1990. The family’s first year in Israel was in Jerusalem, They moved to Beit Shemesh, where they set up their home, and Michael continued his studies at the Shiber High School in Beit Shemesh, where he liked to read books, and after school he spent a lot of time in the school library. On March 25, 1996, Michael was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Engineering Corps. He was transferred to a combat unit in the “Hamachatz” battalion in Battalion 605. Michael fell during his duty on 9 September 1997. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl In Jerusalem, left his parents and brother Yan, who was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant, and his sister Zohar was born eleven years after his death.
