Kubaisi, Nissim

Son of Zechariah and Batya. He was born on the 15th of Adar 5704 (March 10, 1944) in Aden, and the same year the entire family immigrated to Israel. In his parents’ home he received a traditional education and studied at the elementary school in Tel Mond. He was a loyal son of his parents and devoted to them, modest in his manner, and his kindness was on his laughing face, which illuminated each person, because of his human attitude to all, loved by both the old and the young. In 1962 he was drafted into the IDF and was proud of his military uniform. He volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade and was a dedicated soldier. On the eighth of Sivan 5724 (May 19, 1964) he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the Civil Cemetery in Tel Mond, in Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers”.
