Krupivko, Yosef (“Yozhik”)


Yosef, son of Yacob and Malka Krupivko, was born on December 31, 1909 in Warsaw, Poland and he immigrated to Israel in 1933. Yosef belonged to Hashomer Hatzair and was a member of Kibbutz Mesilot. Before the outbreak of the War of Independence he was active in the ranks of the Hagana and during the war he served in the Israel Defense Forces. Yosef later became a career soldier in the rank of Captain. He died on the 29th of Nissan, April 16, 1950, and was brought to rest at the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
