Krukkin, Eliyahu


Born in 1909 in Latvia and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1933 in a group of immigrants who immigrated via Estonia. At first he lived in Tel Aviv and worked in various jobs, the last of which was in the silicate brick factory. In 1939 he moved with his family to Moshav Ein Vered, enlisted in the Guard Corps and devoted himself to security activities. He fulfilled his duties to the satisfaction of his superiors who even elevated him to the rank of corporal. On May 19, 1944, he died after undergoing surgery at Beilinson Hospital. He left a wife, two sons and a sister
