Son of Zvi and Hava. Born on Thursday, March 8, 1957 in Haifa, he studied at the Habonim Elementary School in Neve Sha’anan, in the Hugim Elementary School, and later in the vocational high school in Samet, Haifa, in the field of mechanical engineering. Yair was a gifted and intelligent boy, kind and alert, and behaved politely and politely to all around him. He had successfully completed the parachute course and was about to be sent to a squad commander’s course, and later received a letter from the Air Force stating that he could still return to the Air Force, but that Yair was already mentally connected with his paratroopers and decided to stay with them.
