Krispel, Yosef (Yossi)


Son of Aliza and Amram, Yosef was born on 07/04/1962 in Haifa. Yosef was the eldest son in his family. He completed the elementary school “airs”, and went on to study for three years in high school “classes.” Two years studied Yosef technical school of the air Force and graduated from high school. In November 1980, Yosef joined the IDF and served in the military police, near his home. He underwent basic training, and sent military police course. In March 1981 Yossi graduated instructor course imprisoned, and rose to the rank of corporal. On 08/03/1983, Yosef traveled in a military vehicle on duty. On the Haifa-Tev Aviv Highway, near the interchange of Atlit, an accident occurred and Yossi was killed. He was buried at the military cemetery in Haifa, and Yossi was survived by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. A Torah library was donated to him in a “Yagdil Torah” yeshiva in Haifa. During his service Yossi was placed in a detention facility, and was later assigned to the military police in the Northern Command. He was a responsible and dedicated soldier, disciplined and loved by his comrades and commanders. He showed a spirit of volunteerism, with the need to contribute and help.
