Krinsky, Alexander (“Alex”, “Ginji”)


Alexander, only son to his parents, Nachum and Chava Krinsky, was born on May 10, 1940, in the city of Vilna, Lithuania. Alexander began his military career as a Golani Brigade commander and was promoted to a division commander. On the fifth day of the Six Day War, on the 9th of June 1967, in the course of the conquest of Tel Faher, Alexander fell, leaving a wife and a girl of about one and a half years old. He was buried in the military cemetery in Afula and later transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
