Kraus, Yosef
Yosef, son of Moshe and Henna Kraus, was born in 1922 in Debrecen, Hungary. He immigrated to Israel in 1948 and became a member of the Ha’poel Ha’mizrachi movement. Yosef was drafted into the IDF in June 1948 and took part in the War of Indepedence. On the 3rd of Nissan (19.3.1953), Yosef fell in his line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military section in the cemetery in Rehovot. He left behind his wife and two children.
