Kramer, Uri Hirsch

Son of Roza and Yosef Elchanan. He was born in 1891 in Latvia and immigrated to Eretz Israel with his wife and daughter in 1936. He was a Zionist from his youth and the bloody events that took place that year in Israel did not deter him. In Haifa Uri opened a grain trading house and was an active member of the Hagana. On the 11th of Tammuz, 10.7.1938, a bomb was thrown at the bus he was riding on. Uri was wounded and died of his wounds. He was laid to rest in the Haifa cemetery. Left a wife and daughter.
