Krakauer, Gabriel

Son of Azriel (Paul) and Eve (Edith). He was born on July 5, 1933 in Haifa. He studied at the Reali School and later at the “Hugim” High School in Haifa and completed his studies there. Was drafted into the Armored Corps in July 1952. Gabriel was about to finish a course for squad commanders. He died on 9 May 1953 during an exercise in Beit Guvrin, in the southern coastal region of the Negev, and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, leaving his parents, brother and sister
