Korovinik, Shraga (Eran)


Son of Yitzhak and Shulamit. He was born in Tel-Aviv on September 22, 1955. He studied at the elementary school in Givat Shmuel and continued at the “Shevach” vocational high school in Tel Aviv, with a mechanical-mechanical program Shraga was a member of the youth movement Hashomer Hatzair, first as an apprentice and later as a counselor, devoted seven years to this movement and gained many friends and admirers, and he traveled extensively throughout the country and had almost no corner, or even the most remote, with no foot in it. He joined the dance troupe of the Tel Aviv Municipality and performed many times in various places.Shraga was drafted into the IDF in early February 1974 and was deployed to the Navy as a professional training officer. As a post-water weapons technician, he underwent weapons training and was stationed at the Navy base in Eilat. Shraga was one of the best soldiers, did his job quietly and confidently, professionally and expertly. His commander, who insisted on his level, recommended his departure for the officers’ course. On Shavuot 5715 (January 15, 1975) Shraga was killed while serving in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul and left behind his parents and two sisters. Eran spent the best of his youth as a dancer in the Tel Aviv Municipal Dance Company. Together we experienced the first stage experiences, endless rehearsals, performances in all corners of the country and a cohesive society composed entirely of dancers, dancers and young musicians … Eran stood out in his relentless youthfulness, joined every event and activity and spared no time to give a hand To success … On stage he stood out with a personal charm that projected on his surroundings. “His parents immortalized his name by setting up a library in the kindergarten in Givat Shmuel.
