Kopler, Dedi Sorin


Son of Mirce and Irena. Born in Bucharest, Romania, on July 9, 1946, he studied in the Polytechnic School in his hometown, immigrated to Israel towards the end of 1965 and was alone in Israel. He was also in compulsory service. The Six-Day War broke out, and on the second day of the battles, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), he moved in a tank that was damaged. After the repair he tried to get the forces and during the journey there was a battle in which the tank was hit by an Egyptian tank and a fella. This was in a battle that took place at the Chen Yunis Junction – Rafah. Was buried in a mass grave in the military emergency cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to an eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery
