Kolberg, Ziv
Was born on May 1, 1957 in Kibbutz Kabri in the Western Galilee, where his father fought in the Palmach and was one of the founders of Kibbutz Malkia. At the beginning of October 1956 his parents moved to Kabri, where Ziv was born. When Ziv finished third grade, at the end of 1966, his parents left Kabri and moved to Kfar Sirkin. Ziv spent the next five years in Kfar Sirkin, but the connection with Kabri was not cut off. When he finished elementary school, Ziv returned to Cabri and completed his high school studies there. In November 1975, Ziv was drafted into the IDF and assigned to serve in an elite combat unit, and was sent to an officer’s course and completed his service in November 1977. Three years later, after completing two years of service in the army, he was discharged with the rank of captain. Ziv was recruited to carry out a certain mission, and was joined together with several other soldiers from his unit to one of the paratroopers’ units who were moving along the shore. Progress.
