Koenig, Aryeh
Son of Joseph and Leah. He was born on July 8, 1934 in Lublin, Poland. While we were still a baby, his parents brought him to Israel. He completed his studies at the Bialik Elementary School in Tel Aviv and later studied at the Center for Qualified Teachers. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement and was a Jewish Agency official. He liked to travel and explore, and he traveled the country to the length and breadth. He was drafted into the IDF in December 1952. At the beginning of his service, he was trained in one of the military bases and was very fond of all his subordinates, and later moved to a combat unit and took part in a battle with the enemy around Beit Govrin on February 12, 1955, A few years before his release, he fell and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
