Son of Rachel and Shalom, was born in 1929 in Yemen. David died from his father at a young age and in 1938 immigrated to Israel with his family. He studied at a school in the village of Marmorek, near Rehovot, and then began working in orchards. He soon became a member of the Hanoar Haoved branch. In the youth movement he found a social life and studied evening classes, and in Hapoel he vaccinated his body in sports. In August 2007, as part of an investigation into the IDF’s missing persons branch, it was found that David was buried in the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery. On August 30, 2007, a military ceremony was held for the discovery of the tombstone, with the participation of David’s family and military officials.
