Klein, Yosef
Son of Rina and Bernard. Yosef was born in Hungary on the 19th of February 1924. Yosef immigrated to Israel and joined the police. He was married to Malka and the father of five: Avraham Dov, Daniel, Tzipora, Miriam and Oren. The family lived in Givat Yeshayahu, a settlement near Beit Shemesh. On Tu B’Shvat 5730 (22.1.1970) Yosef was rushed from his home to Moshav Aderet, and on his way to the moshav, his jeep mounted on a mine. A person who heard the explosion summoned the security forces. Yosef’s body was found some fifty meters from where the explosion took place. Sergeant Yosef fell in the line of duty. He was forty-six when he died. Was buried in the Beit Shemesh cemetery.
