Klagsbrun, Moshe


Moshe, son of Zeev and Rachel Klagsbrun, was born in 1947 in Wesselfingen, Germany. He was just over a year old when his family immigrated to Israel. He was an excellent basketball player and swimmer, and he still found time to read books. According to his profession he was a locksmith. He was energetic and always active and engaged in something. In May 1965, he was drafted into the IDF and reached the rank of paratrooper. On 29 Cheshvan (12.11.1966), he was driving a patrol vehicle south of Hebron and he died in the course of his duties. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. His memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book, “The Paratroop Wars.”
