Kirer, Yitzhak (“Johnny”)
Yitzhak, son of Otto and Kata Kirer, was born in 1931 in Berlin, Germany. He graduated from high school in Berlin and in 1949 immigrated to Israel as part of the Youth Aliya. After the War of Independence, in June 1950, he was drafted into the Israel Air Force and completed a pilot course and was successfully trained as a guide. On the 7th of Elul 5704 (5.9.1954) he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
