Kinderman, Jacob
Son of Elsa and Moshe, was born on March 24, 1929, in Berlin, the capital of Germany. He began studying in an elementary school abroad and in 1936, at the age of seven, he arrived in Eretz Israel. He lived in Bat Yam. He spent two years in a trained Palmach training unit and was a member of the Caesarea group, studied the framing and worked as a metalworker. He became involved in the War of Independence, participated in the battle of Givat Ada and fought in besieged Jerusalem. On May 1, 1948, Jacob fell in a battle for Katamon and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Anavim.
