Kimmelman, Yoram


Son of Alfred and Berta. He was born in Petah Tikva on November 12, 1948. He completed his studies at the Sprinzak Elementary School in Kiryat Gat and continued high school in Kiryat Gat, where he excelled in his studies and passed exams He was successful in his matriculation exams at the University of Tel Aviv in the fields of mathematics and physics, and was scheduled to begin his studies after completing his military service, and was drafted into the IDF in August 1966. On the 19th of Iyar 5729 (6.5.1969), fell while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Gat. Moro, in high school, wrote to his family in a letter of condolence: “I was his teacher for four years, and I accompanied him with all his doubts in his studies, and to this day I remember his sense of responsibility, honesty, uncompromisingness and unbridled diligence. He was not one of the most prominent and arrogant among his friends, and he was modest and quiet and did his deeds in a modest way.
