Kimelfeld, David (“Dudik”)


Son of Shimon and Yehudit. He was born in Kfar Sava on 15.8.1950 and attended the Brenner elementary school and the high school in Kfar Saba, and continued at the “Ron” high school in Tel Aviv. He was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” youth movement, and was a sports fan, mainly soccer and photography enthusiast, and especially liked landscape photography and still life Dudik was drafted into the IDF in January 1969. On February 4, 1970, He was killed by an enemy when he was chasing in the area of ​​Ein Yahav. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kfar Saba. In the “nest” of the “Working and Studying Youth” a memorial room was dedicated to the memory of David and his friend, who fell a few months before him; On the way to Eilat, a memorial was erected by his friends in the “Ya’alon” nucleus in the Nahal Brigade, and his friends in the nucleus published a booklet entitled “In Memory of Them” in memory of his friend Shlomo Swirski.
