Khir (Hanu), Safi-Naziya

Safi-Naziya, son of Ishtiak and Nazia Khir, was born on October 26, 1989 in the village of Majar in the Lower Galilee. Safi always dreamed of serving in a special unit, and on the day of his induction into the IDF his dream came true, and he was assigned to the Nachshon unit of the Israel Prison Service. First sergeant Safi-Nazia Khir fell during his service on November 24, 2010. Safi was twenty-one years old. He was buried in the military cemetery in Majar, leaving behind his parents and eight brothers.
