Kfir, Shlomit

Daughter of Dina and Isaac. Shlomit was born in Jaffa on May 6, 1961. She grew up in Tel Aviv, studied at the Gymnasia Gimel and excelled in her studies, was active in every field, . After the army moved to Kibbutz Solelim, and two years later returned to the city and married Dov Kfir. They lived in Ramat Hasharon and had two children – Lior and Guy. Shlomit joined the police in 1984. She loved her work with the police, and several times she was praised by her commanders. On October 10, 1995, an advanced sergeant, Shlomit, was killed during her service. Thirty-four years old in the fall. She was buried in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv. Survived husband and two children, parents and sister. Ten months after the fall of Shlomit, Dina’s mother died of grief.
