Kesselman, Aryeh


Son of Miriam and Moshe. He was born in 1924 in the city of Seroki, in Bessarabia, Romania. In 1934 he immigrated to Israel with his family and settled in Tel Aviv. Here he began his studies and after began to work as a engrave. In addition to his work and studies, he was an active member of the Scouts movement and served as a battalion commander of the “Community” Scout troop. He later joined the Haganah and took part in various activities as a squad commander in the “Field Corps”. On 21 Adar I, February 22, 1946 a group of members of the Hish and Palmach attacked the base A police force in Sarona, near Tel Aviv, and Aryeh was killed and buried in the Nachalat Yitzhak cemetery. He left behind his parents and a sister.
