Keshet, Yahel

Yahel, son of Miriam and Dov Keshet, was born in 1976 in Moshav Sharona. In January 1995, Yahel enlisted in the Israel Air Force, where he served as a helicopter pilot, and after completing compulsory military service he continued to serve in the army. Yahel and his wife lived at the Hatzerim Air Force Base with their two children. On the 15th of Av (26.7.2010), Major Yahel was killed in a helicopter crash during a training operation in the mountains of Romania. He was brought to eternal rest in the Sharona cemetery. Yahel was survived by his wife and two children, his parents and two siblings.
