Keshet (Kosashvili), Yitzhak
Yitzhak ben Avraham and Rachel. He was born onthe 12th of Adar, March 15, 1939 in Georgia where he spent his childhood and youth. In 1973 Yitzhak immigrated to Israel with his family, his mother, his wife and three children. Yitzhak was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in June 1976 and assigned to the Israel Air Force, during which he underwent various training courses. Yitzhak fell during his service on the 22nd of Adar 5739, March 21, 1979. He was laid to rest in the Holon cemetery. In a letter of condolence to his family, his commander wrote: “Yitzhak was a dedicated and loyal soldier, who fulfilled his duties with great devotion, while showing a desire to help others and give up personal comfort.”
