Kertes, Robert (Joseph-Zvi)
Son of Rozi and Deja. Born in Budapest, Hungary, on May 3, 1922, in Budapest, Hungary, his father was a well-known journalist, and in 1941, after completing his high school studies at the Jewish school in Budapest, made aliyah and settled in Jerusalem,. During his military service, he was transferred to the hospital in Alexandria, and died on 10 Tamuz, July 13, 1943. He was brought to rest in Egypt. Survived by his parents and two sisters. His memory was immortalized in a booklet published by the Hebrew University and by the “Jewish Soldier”.
